چکیده

A de-centralised load management technique exploiting the flexibility in the charging of Electric Vehicles (EVs) is presented. Two regimes are assumed. The Controlled Charging Regime (CCR) between 16:30 hours and 06:00 hours next day Uncontrolled (UCR) same day. During CCR, EVs is coordinated controlled by means a wireless two-way communication link between EV Smart Charge Controllers (EVSCCs) at owners’ premises EV Load Controller (EVLC) local LV distribution substation. EVLC sorts the batteries in ascending order their states charge (SoC) sends command signals for to as many transformer could allow at that interval based on condition analysed the Distribution Transformer Monitor (DTM). real typical urban area distribution network Great Britain (GB) used case study. The technique applied area when its carrying future demand of the winter weekday year 2050. To achieve load management, decomposed into Non-EV load. is managed varying an optimisation objective function which maximises capacity utilisation subject operational constraints non-disruption daily trips owners. Results show that with proposed technique, networks could accommodate high uptake without compromising useful normal life expectancy transformers before need capacity reinforcement.

Improving the resilience of active distribution networks by optimal charging/discharging management of electric vehicles in parking lots

In the event of a severe incident with a high impact and low probability of occurrence, distribution networks may be separated from upstream networks and several feeders may be disconnected simultaneously within the distribution networks. In such circumstances, to maximize the resilience of the distribution networks and to prevent long-term global outages, they are reconfigured and islanded to ...

Improving Fast Charging Methods Using Genetic Algorithm and Coordination between Chargers in Fast Charging Station of Electric Vehicles in Order to Optimal Utilization of Power Capacity of Station

Fast charging stations are one of the most important section in smart grids with high penetration of electric vehicles. One of the important issues in fast chargers is choosing the proper method for charging. In this paper, by defining an optimization problem with the objective of reducing the charging time, the optimal charging levels are obtained using a multi-stage current method using a gen...

Scheduling of Electric Vehicle Charging Station for profit maximization of Vehicles and Station in Uncertainty

Abstract: In this paper, the electric vehicle (EV) charging station scheduling process is designed to maximize the profit of EVs owners and the station operator in two steps. First, a complete model is proposed to formulate the problem of charging and discharging EVs at charging stations in one-day-ahead 24-hours. The purpose of the program is to increase the profits of EVs owners charging stat...
